Driss has been recognized as a leader in the world of over-the-top (OTT) media. Drawing from his extensive experience at networks like ESPN and CNN, as well as his work creating award-winning documentaries worldwide, he has played a pivotal role in launching networks from the ground.
In 2024, Driss served as the broadcast executive producer on the First-ever Live Más LIVE Super Bowl event presented by Taco Bell which gave fans behind-the-scenes access to the brand’s full exclusive tasting opportunities, memorable performances and celebrity appearances. The event scored 7.1B Media Impressions and was nominated for the 2024 Webby Awards for best event activation.
Driss served as executive producer of the “World’s Largest Tailgate” event presented by Bud Light. The 90-minute format hosted by YouTube stars “the Merrell Twins” celebrated the Super Bowl defending champion Kansas City Chiefs. The show was held live outside GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium – with more than 3 million viewers tuning in for the global event. The show was nominated for the 2024 Producers Guild Awards in the innovation category.
In 2023, Driss led the launch and rebranding of Charles Schwab Network, a 24/7 financial news OTT network broadcasting from its studios in Chicago and the New York Stock Exchange. This ambitious project required Driss and his team to re-launch 9 live show formats and produce over 50 commercials for the network.
Recently, Driss was tapped to reboot The Hill TV’s flagship show “Rising,” hosted by Robby Soave and Briahna Joy Gray. The new show format saw record growth in viewership with an average of 875,000 viewers per day – a 15-month high and 80% growth in plays year over-year, topping nearly 20 million plays.
