Driss has been recognized as a pioneer in the world of over-the-top (OTT) content. Drawing from his extensive experience at networks like ESPN and CNN, as well as his work creating award-winning documentaries worldwide, he has played a pivotal role in conceptualizing and developing emerging media platforms from their inception.
Driss served as the executive producer of the “World’s Largest Tailgate” event presented by Bud Light. The 90-minute format hosted by YouTube stars “the Merrell Twins” celebrated the Super Bowl defending champion Kansas City Chiefs. The show was held live outside GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium – with more than 1 million viewers tuning in for the global event.
In 2023, Driss led the launch and rebranding of Charles Schwab Network, a 24/7 financial news OTT network broadcasting from its studios in Chicago and the New York Stock Exchange. This ambitious project featured seven live show formats and produced over 60 commercials and sizzles for the network.
Recently, Driss was tapped to reboot The Hill TV’s flagship show “Rising,” hosted by Robby Soave and Briahna Joy Gray. The Hill TV is the foremost digital-first political news brand in the United States, reaching an audience of 47 million lawmakers, policymakers, business leaders, and influential digital consumers from Capitol Hill to Main Street.
In 2022, Driss was selected by former ABC News President James Goldston to serve as the live producer for the Congressional Hearings investigating the January 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol. These hearings garnered substantial attention, with the first hearing, in particular, drawing an average audience of approximately 20 million viewers. Nielsen reported that about 55 million viewers tuned in to watch some part of the hearings.
Driss’s portfolio also includes serving as an executive producer of branded content for major brands, organizations, and government agencies such as The Hill TV, IMF, UBS, Equinox, Verizon Fios, Reuters, Accuweather, and French Television.
In 2017, Driss achieved another milestone by successfully launching the first-ever business-focused OTT network of its kind, TD Ameritrade Network.
