All Access Media CEO Driss Sekkat named judge for the AIBs 2026

Driss Sekkat, founder and CEO of All Access Media, has been named to the judging panel for the AIBs 2026, the international awards presented by the Association for International Broadcasting.

The annual awards recognize work across international journalism, broadcasting, production and digital media, bringing together industry professionals from around the world to evaluate entries and select standout work.

Since 2013, 373 judges from 49 countries have served on the AIBs judging panel, according to the organization. Sekkat joins the 2026 panel as the awards continue their focus on international storytelling and media excellence.

“The future of media is being shaped by creators, journalists, storytellers and innovators around the world,” Sekkat said. “It’s an honor to join the AIBs judging panel and help recognize the work that is setting the global standard for excellence in content, journalism and audience engagement.”

Recognizing excellence in international media

The AIBs are organized by the Association for International Broadcasting, an industry organization representing and supporting media companies, journalists and other professionals working across international television, radio, audio and digital platforms.

The awards recognize work from broadcasters, production companies and media organizations around the world, with judging conducted by an international panel of industry professionals.

The global makeup of the panel is intended to bring a range of professional and cultural perspectives to the judging process. Since 2013, judges have represented every continent except Antarctica.

Sekkat will take part in evaluating work entered for the 2026 awards alongside other media professionals from across the industry.

A career across international broadcasting and media

Sekkat has worked across television, financial media, documentary production and digital content.

Before founding All Access Media, his work included the development and production of programming for international and U.S. media organizations. His career has included investigative documentary projects as well as the launch and development of financial media platforms.

He created and executive produced the investigative documentary series “Street Pulse,” which examined social and political issues in Egypt and received international recognition from CINE and New York Festivals.

Sekkat also served as a founding executive producer of the TD Ameritrade Network, helping develop the streaming financial news operation that combined live market coverage, investor education and original programming.

Today, he leads Miami-based All Access Media, which works across original programming, production, digital strategy and audience development.

A global judging panel

The AIBs judging process brings together professionals with backgrounds in journalism, production, programming and media leadership.

Judges review work from across international media, giving the panel a role in identifying programming and journalism that stand out for their execution, storytelling and impact.

For Sekkat, the appointment also reflects the increasingly global nature of media production and distribution.

Digital platforms, streaming and social media have made it possible for programming produced in one market to reach audiences around the world, while creating new opportunities for journalists and producers to experiment with storytelling formats.

Sekkat’s appointment to the AIBs 2026 judging panel places him among industry professionals tasked with recognizing that work and helping select this year’s honorees.

Additional information about the 2026 awards and judging process will be announced by the Association for International Broadcasting.
